As an organisation, our mission is to keep you as a customer for life, but our purpose is to 'help people achieve great things through innovative solutions'. So we believe that once a year, ASI should recognise how our purpose allows our clients to deliver their missions.
We believe that the work of non-profits is of vital importance to the world and our software allows organisations in this industry to focus on their mission, not their technology, and 'achieve great things'. We are proud of the difference our customers are making in the world and the role our products and services play in their efforts, however small or large this may be.
At ASI Europe's Discovery Day this year, (iMIS and Progress users conference, 22 October 2009) we have had a notable number of entries both from our clients directly, but also from our business partners and customer-facing teams. A panel of individuals at ASI were chosen to judge the entries, and each judge was allowed two iMIS and two Progress nominations.
The two ProgressCRM winners were The Shakespeare Globe Trust and The Gurkha Welfare Trust
The Shakespeare Globe Trust is dedicated to the experience and international understanding of Shakespeare in performance.
Over the last few years, the Shakespeare's Globe Trust has strived to embrace and adopt, the importance of having one CRM system in Progress, and ensure that Progress is being used as efficiently as possible. Commitment to this theme of centralisation ensures that all departments are able to benefit from shared information, and that the Supporters of the Globe are managed effectively.
Starting as a purely membership database, the team has expanded the use of Progress into the Development department, the Front of House and have plans to widen out the use further so that the Globe gets even more value from their investment. We would like to commend all of team at the Globe for their work in ensuring the adoption of true CRM to help drive their mission.

The Gurkha Welfare Trust was established in England in 1969. Its remit is to provide financial, medical and community aid to alleviate hardship and distress among Gurkha ex-servicemen and their dependants after they have returned to their homeland of Nepal.
Fundraising at The Gurkha Welfare Trust is lead by their Deputy Director Katherine Ayres. The excellent thing about the Trust's fundraising is their ability to make every donor feel as if they are the only person supporting the Trust. Through Progress, they are able to generate accurate, bespoke information that supports personalized fundraising, in an efficient & cost effective manner. Furthermore, the dashboard and reporting features allow them to have a finger on the fundraising pulse at all times.
We would like to recognise the team at the Gurkha Welfare Trust for the great things they are doing to ensure the funds they require to support their mission.
