Press release from Alexandria USA, 2 March 2009
Advanced Solutions International (ASI), the largest, privately-owned global provider of web-based software for member and donor-based non-profits, today announced results for the past 12 months ending 31 December 2008.
The company reached the following milestones:
- ASI achieved record revenue in 2008 with a 22% increase in new customer software license revenue.
- ASI's international operations in Canada, Europe and Australia also collectively achieved record revenue this year.
- ASI acquired UK charity and fundraising software company, Fisk Brett, creating the largest, privately-owned global provider of web-based software for member and donor-based non-profits and the UK's no. 1 specialist software provider for the not-for-profit sector. The combined company has served nearly 3,000 customers and has nearly 200 employees in seven offices worldwide.
- ASI was rated #1 for customer satisfaction by an independent survey. ASI was ranked first for meeting customer expectations in time to implement, cost to implement, ease of implementation, and post-implementation performance in an independent survey, by Lehman Associates, of associations with more than $2 million in revenue. The survey also confirmed ASI's leadership position in the association market, with a nearly 40% market share.
- ASI announced the availability of Social Networking for iMIS, a fully-integrated online community platform with Blogs, Shared Libraries, Profiles, Forums, Tagging and Tag clouds, Groups, and Listservs. In 2008, ASI also launched iMIS Friendraising, a peer-to-peer marketing tool; iDashboards for iMIS, a visual role-based reporting tool; and iMIS TaskCentre, a workflow automation tool.
- ASI received three major industry awards for support and performance. Service Strategies Corporation (SSC) recognized ASI with a certification in Service Capability and Performance (SCP) support standards for the sixth year in a row, as well as professional service standards for the second consecutive year. ASI was also honored with the Software Testing Best Practice Award from the International Institute of Software Testing (IIST).
- ASI met PCI-DSS self-assessment validation level five for iMIS. ASI conducted the self-assessment process of review and implementation of policies, procedures and technologies to meet the 2009 Payment Card Institute Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) Compliance requirements. Level five is the highest level, and applies both to iMIS and to ASI hosting services.
"Despite the economic downturn, we had a strong year in 2008 which we attribute to our commitment to 'keep our customers for life' " said Bob Alves, Chairman and CEO of ASI. "By setting realistic expectations and then delivering on them, we continue to improve the quality and strength of our customer relationships. This approach was validated by the Lehman Associates independent survey findings which rated us #1 for customer satisfaction"
