The India office of Action Aid, the charity international charity which works with poor and excluded people to eradicate poverty, has chosen the ProgressCRM database to manage its fundraising operation. This is the latest Action Aid office to select ProgressCRM, following the earlier decisions by its affiliates in Brazil and Sweden to choose the software.
In India today Action Aid works with more than 300 civil society organisations and over five million poor and excluded people in 24 states and two union territories.
Based in Bangalore, Alice Andrew said "Our focus is on the rights of India's most marginalised communities: Dalit and indigenous people, rural and urban poor, women, children and minorities. ProgressCRM will help with our contact management and fundraising initiatives to help these groups who face an acute lack of access to and control over resources, services, and institutions".
