The ProgressCRM Community

Your new ProgressCRM Community website is up and running- and you can find it at http://community.progresscrm.eu/welcome.htm

The ProgressCRM Community is for all users of all versions of ProgressCRM to share ideas and information. And it will also be used by the Product Advisory Council (PAC) to gather and refine product development suggestions and ideas for future ProgressCRM upgrades.

This is not an ASI Europe corporate website: The ‘Progress Community' website is ‘owned' by the Progress users themselves and will be moderated by the members of their PAC.

The PAC will create a shortlist of suggestions that will be used for the future development of Progress. They will create this by deciding which suggestions will benefit most customers and will be most useful to the community.  ASI take any decisions as to what is actually included in future ProgressCRM releases based on whether an idea can actually be developed and at what development costs. Any changes in legislation will also be taken into consideration. When we talk about the Progress Community site, we are talking not only about suggestions for ProgressCRM, but also for Progress Browser, Web Services, Progress Outlook tool bar and Dashboard, modules and so on.

The more content and ideas we can get before then is down to you, so come on, register now!

"The Progress Community and PAC are just for you, our customers" says Lindsay Fisk. "Progress Community is a social networking website for every ProgressCRM customer to take part in, to make suggestions for future product developments so future versions will be what you want. All customers who are up to date with SMSU/SUP can register. You can communicate with the PAC members and other customers; register your suggestions or product ideas; and engage in discussions about these with other customers too.

"As ASI ProgressCRM Product Manager I'll be engaging with the PAC members to review requested enhancements on behalf of the user community. Whilst ASI may not be able to address all items put forward by the PAC, we shall make every effort to accommodate as much as it is possible in line with our product development plans."
